At a very young age, Kelsey would grab her mom's camcorder and film herself singing and dancing. At 8 years old, Kelsey was gifted with her own Fujifilm point-and-shoot camera. This was her early start into a career of communication.
Kelsey was born and raised in a small farming community in Central Illinois and made frequent visits to the family farm. She was an active member in 4-H and FFA. On a visit to the University of Illinois, Kelsey's dad found a brochure about the agriculture communications program and claimed she should check it out because "she loved to talk." The rest is history...
As a trained journalist, Kelsey has worked with Illinois Farm Bureau, University of Illinois College of ACES, and National FFA to name a few. In her local community, she has worked with businesses as the marketing manager for the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
Kelsey enjoys working with farmers and agribusinesses on digital media strategy - from social media to video. She firmly believes that everyone has a voice and a story to share.
